Marco Crepaldi

Marco Crepaldi received the engineering degree (summa cum laude) and the Ph.D. in electronic engineering from the Politecnico di Torino (Polito), Turin, Italy, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. In 2008, he was a visiting scholar at the Electrical Engineering Department of Columbia University in the City of New York. After his Ph. D., he worked as a postdoc at the VLSI-Lab, Electrical Engineering Department, Polito. He was a postdoc at the IIT Center for Human Robotics until 2016. He is the Head of the Electronics Design Lab (EDL) at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genova. The laboratory's activity regards the design of electronic systems for applicability to scientific research, spanning custom printed circuit boards and FPGA design to integrated circuits for a broad spectrum of applications, including device firmware, driver design, and basic high-level application software.
